The last couple years have been a roller coaster ride here in the United States.For a lot of highly sensitive empathic people, it’s particularly hard right now, many of us deal with feelings of powerlessness, sadness, and fear and worry, concern and overwhelm. THIS can be exhausting. Human beings are not wired for chronic persistent stress. We're designed to deal with acute situations, survive and reboot. Months or years of prolonged stress takes it's toll. The longer we endure it the more likely we are to stall out and experience a freeze response. In the episode I talk about how we're wired to handle challenges and why so many of us are feeling especially unmotivated and tired 19 months into a global pandemic.
